Robust and reliable, the Hytera PD485 handheld digital radio offers a simple communication solution with a 1.3 inch OLED front display screen, programmable keys and emergency button, ideal for users operating in manufacturing, facilities management or education environments. With easy-to-use menu navigation keys and telephone style keypad for text messaging, selective calling and many other radio features.

With embedded digital technology, the PD400 series of radios produce outstanding voice quality, even in noisy environments, and at the outer perimeters of radio coverage. Thanks to the TDMA method, DMR radios make it possible to double the channel capacity of conventional analogue radio, giving you two channels for each frequency issued by Ofcom.
Mixed analogue and digital capability ensures that the PD400 series radios can detect both analogue and digital signals and change automatically to the relevant operating mode. The Hytera PD405 radios are dust and water-resistant according to IP55 (PD485) or IP54 (PD415) meaning that they are protected against water ingress.
